Ladies Auxiliary VFW khaki garrison cap with brown piping and sewn on patch. Embroidered "4872" and "Past President Ohio" in brown thread. Also attached are 2 VFW pins, one with a gavel, one with 2 crossed feathers, and a 6 point gold star. Cap measures 11 " folded. Cap was worn by Ruth Zieverink, born in Iowa in 1922, died in Delhi, Ohio in 2012. Ruth was a surgical technician in the US Army during World War II. |
