Clothing items were displayed by Harriet B. Mayhew Fearnley in an exhibit in 1919 at the Elberon Presbyterian Church in Price Hill. Many items have handwritten labels pinned to the fabric. This is part of a wedding gown's waist (bodice and jacket) of Mrs. Medora Shaw Mayhew, married October 31, 1858. Note says that a very full gathererd skirt (not in this collection) was worn with this. Note also indicated these items were 118 years old. |
